Hi! I’m Christen Deola Jones – lifelong resident of Northampton Township, proud wife, and busy mom to two wonderful boys. I grew up here, attended Council Rock schools, and I’m blessed to raise my family in the same place that helped shape who I am today. My husband also went to school here and shares the same appreciation for our township.
Academically, I pursued my passion for mathematics by earning my bachelor’s degree from Penn State University (WE ARE!) and later completing a master’s degree in mathematics at West Chester University. My career has been centered around analytics, forecasting, financial planning, and strategic decision-making; skills that require a high level of integrity, accuracy, and responsibility.
I began my career in investment and consumer banking before shifting into the lawn and garden industry, where I spent over a decade in diverse roles. I pivoted into engineering and logistics, supporting telecom company operations. Working with numbers is something I enjoy, but more importantly, I understand how to use them to support thoughtful, transparent, and accountable processes.
I’m running for Northampton Township Tax Collector because it is a very meaningful way to serve the community that means so much to my family. As your tax collector, I will serve all of Northampton efficiently, effectively, courteously, and with a smile. I believe in doing things the right way – with clarity, consistency, and predictability. I’m confident that when elected, your tax matters will be handled timely. I will bring the office into the 21st century in terms of online access and a paperless option.
It would be my honor and privilege to bring my experience, education, and dedication to the Tax Collector role. For me, this is about serving, staying connected, and doing my part to make our township an even better place for all of us.
